WARM WELCOME - NEWCOMERS 2012

It was a sunny and a beautiful morning with a clear blue sky on the 30th of December 2011. On this day, the teachers of SJK (C) Air Kuning Selatan were excited and proudly to greet their new batch of pupils as they renewed their commandments.

Some icebreakers were presented that morning to welcome the children. The children swayed to the music played merrily to the tunes along with their teachers as they looked forward to a happy and fun filled year. A skit presented by the teachers amused and enthralled the children putting them at ease.

The headmistress Madam Lee Siew Lan was present to cheer the children and wish them their very best on their first day at preschool SJK (C) Air Kuning Selatan.

PRESCHOOL SJKC AIR KUNING SELATAN

Preschool works to ensure that the nation's children with learning disabilities have every opportunity to succeed in school, work, and life. Malaysia Pre-School is a school for the education of very young children (generally five years of age and younger). These schools seek to prepare young children before enrolling to schools with formal education, they only provide childcare with little educational benefits. Pre-schools which focus on education generally teach early social skills including interpersonal interaction, being a part of a group of peers, and classroom skills such as following the instructions of a teacher. Some formal education also takes place, such as early reading or language skills. Some nursery schools have adopted specialized methods of teaching, such as Montessori, and various other pedagogy.
In Malaysia, there are two types of instituitions that cater to Pre-School. There are childcare centres which enrols children below four years old and the kindergartens which admits children between the ages of 4+ through 5+.
